It is that time of the year when you normally think about new possibilities of the year to come.
New year, new life, people say. And so you start making New Year’s resolutions*.
Starting new habits or quitting old ones are the most common resolutions.
What you really want is to change for the better*.
Have you already written your list?
Remember: New year’s day is just the first of 365 other days.
After a few weeks, if you find your reality is too far from your expectation, do not be so hard on yourself*.
You can always make some adjustments or start again.
After all, a new day is always a possibility of a new life.
* resolution = a promise to yourself to do or to not do something.
* change for the better = improve.
* be hard on somebody = criticize someone severely.
